Sunshine: Making yarn gremlins of all of us. – 52:38

Stalled – 52:54

‘Husbando’s 2023 Sweater’ (ravelry link) has one major issue. The layout of the charts in the publication is mirrored to the positioning of the cables on the sweater. This has led to much confusion and double checking. Occasionally transposing ‘left’ and ‘right’ is very much an ADHD Brain thing.

The problem in a nutshell.

Mom’s Yarn Stash: OMG – 58:37

Scenic Route – 59:00

The fight against rose killing fungus infections took a dramatic and drastic turn – I have had to cut the bush nearly to the ground in an effort to disrupt the lifecycle of the fungi infecting it.

The yarn for Husband’s sweaters is ‘Yowza’ purchased at the MDSW festival from Miss Babs. The colorway for this garment is ‘Old Gold’, and was acquired on the recommendation of a booth helper/worker. ‘Yowza’ is a Dk weight, 100% Superwash Merino yarn.

Gauge Rage: Scream into the Void – 22:44

Stalled – 22:57

Making a gauge swatch for the ‘2023 Sweater’ involved more math than a gauge swatch typically does.

This is the sucker.
