Mom’s Yarn Stash: OMG – 01:48
Open Throttle – 02:10
Good Morning Baltimore Reprise (ravelry link) is the first knitting of the episode. Finally in the final section of knitting before the bind-off.
Kitties’N’Cream (ravelry link) gave us the episode title by jumping between the best possible timeline of earth where this sock exists, and then the worst possible of all timelines of earth where this sock exists. I wasn’t aware extra dimensional travel was possible, but apparently these socks break physics.
Also mentioned a desire to sew a fabulous rainbow pride fit of my dreams. Or at least some sort of mock up. Mr. Kickass, who has actually made clothing for my body unlike myself, has been the voice of reason on what is possible and what will remain a dream

In 2026 the Trans Legislation Tracker has already counted 755 specifically anti-trans proposed laws or bills across the United States when this episode was recorded. It is 761 at the time these episode notes are being written. With Maine contributing 2 of that new total, also bringing the number of states with proposed anti-trans legislation from 42 to 43. The vast majority of these bills are aimed at education – such as forcibly outing students, denying a student request to be called something other than their legal name, and healthcare – such as legal access for teens and adults, and whether or not insurance can cover gender related healthcare.
The Good News: This Article from Rough Draft Atlanta by Collin Kelley and published April 3rd 2026 reported that ALL such anti-trans laws proposed in Georgia in the state legislative session were defeated. All of them. So keep showing up, because it is working.
