Life on the Road Update – 01:38

Husbando and I are back from our travels, and the editing rabbit hole of Episode 20. We are both fully immunized, boosted, and doing well.

Fashionably Riding – 03:47

Our mini-vacation was decked out in knitwear. Crisp mornings with warm, sunny afternoons are the perfect days for sweaters and shawls. I wore both the ‘Magic Sweater‘ (ravelry link), and the ‘Caledon Fall Sweater‘ (ravelry link). Husbando wore his ‘Donegal Sweater’ which I made for him in 2016 as his 2017 sweater. The pattern is “Donegal Sweater” by Moira Engel (ravelry link) in Miss Babs Yowza in the colorway ‘Denim‘ (ravelry link). It is available through Interweave here.

Also worn were the lovely ‘Koi Pond Shawl’ and the ‘View from The Charles’. Which I don’t have links for, but I will have pictures.

Operation Sock Drawer (what! what!) continues with the ‘Ultimate Koi Pond Meta Socks‘ (ravelry link) by Kino Knits. The heel has been turned on the first sock. They are beautiful, and I am just ready to be wearing them now.

The ‘Phenomenal Sweater‘ (ravelry link) has a completed back!

The ‘Wingspan‘ (ravelry link) is on it’s third color – Moon Drop grapes.

My November 2021 Knitcrate was filled with TEA-lightful goodies. Uru.Yarns (ravelry link) ‘Cozy’ in the Butterfly Pea Blossom colorway. And a sachet of Tea with Tae ‘Winter Bliss’.

Knitting and walking are two separate skills. Knitting while walking can lead to …. problems. In my case, throwing yarn, needles, and elbows to enforce personal space lead to both the ‘Wingspan’ and the ‘Ultimate Koi Pond Meta Socks’ needing some major surgery.
