All links to Ravelry are labelled as such. I try to include links to outside websites as much as possible. At this time, I am not including links for purchasing yarns, needles, etc. If I do, they will also be appropriately labelled. As a quick reminder: I am not affiliated with any businesses.

The ADHD brain has been ADHD-ing. And I have been trying my hardest to be supportive of my people and communities. It has taken much of my time and energy.

Open Throttle – 20:33

Mr Kickass’s 2026 Sweater‘ (ravelry link) is finished! The ‘Riverfolk Pullover” by designer Moira Engel (ravelry link) was a delight to knit! I used Miss Babs (Purchasing link) ‘Yowza‘ (ravelry link for the yarn only) in the “Dusk” colorway. Over the years, I have learned to seam together sweater pieces starting at the hems and going to the underarm. As promised: WonderClips.

The ‘Good Morning Baltimore Reprise‘ (ravelry link) shawl is moving steadily along! With the SqUiGgLeS! This pattern was the 2025 fall Mystery Knit-A-Long by Stephen West; the Mystery MusiKAL (ravelry link). I am using Wild Hare Fiber Studio Sparkle Fingering in the MDSW 2024 show colorway ‘Fresh Steamed Crab’ as my my red color. The other three colors are Knit Picks Palette in White, Black, and Canary. As I am not a knitpicks affiliate, you can support The Unraveling Podcast; who are knitpicks affiliates, and the hosts are also wonderfully supportive of both myself and this podcast.

I was able to make a ‘Red Hat‘ (ravelry link) using the “Melt the ICE Hat” (ravelry link) by Paul S Neary. I was delighted to use Checkheaton Australian Superfine Merino 8 ply yarn, that I had in my yarn horde. I had exactly enough yarn to finish the hat.

The final knitting surprise was a baby sweater! That is, once again, not for Me!
I have named this project the “Dyad Baby Sweater” because a dyad is a musical notation for a two-note chord. This is the “Hooded Baby Sweater with Back Zipper” (ravelry link) that I made out of Lion Brand acrylic in Hunter Green and Teal.

Stalled – 49:48

I needed to remake my “Melt the ICE” hat because I did run out of yarn, so I went down a needle size and remade the hat.

There were definitely dropped stitches in the ‘Dyad Baby Sweater’, thankfully they were minor and easy to pick up.

I finally found what was throwing off my stitch count in the ‘Good Morning Baltimore Reprise’! I had accidentally added a YO to the beginning of a wrong side row before the color section!
