Episode 39: Attention Deficit Knitting Disorder Type 2

All links to Ravelry are labelled as such. I try to include links to outside websites as much as possible. At this time, I am not including links for purchasing yarns, needles, etc. If I do, they will also be appropriately labelled. As a quick reminder: I am not affiliated with any businesses.

If you’d like to show your support of the podcast, please rate and review on your listening device, follow me on instagram, and / or join the ravelry discussion group (ravelry link) if it is safe for you to do so.

The episode was a follow up to the previous episode discussing a little bit of what it is like to be a Knitter with ADHD and Depression. The studies I mentioned in the episode can be found at the following links:

Managing anxiety in eating disorders with knitting (M Clave-Brule, A Mazloum, R J Park, E J Harbottle, C L Birmingham)

The Benefits of Knitting for Personal and Social Wellbeing in Adulthood: Findings from an International Survey (Jill Riley, Betsan Corkhill, Claire Morris, et al.)

Mom’s Yarn Stash: OMG – 18:01

An example of how I keep a schedule. Different colored inks, clearly marked days, and space for planning and ideas all help me stay organized and not forget tasks and responsibilities.

Open Throttle – 18:24

The back of ‘The Milly Tank Top‘ (Ravelry link) is almost half way done because I worked on this almost exclusively.

Gauge Rage: Scream into the Void – 19:59

The Milly Tank back half way done (plus a little extra)!

Stalled – 20:12

Husbando’s ‘2023 Sweater‘ (Ravelry link) was restarted as I wasn’t confident of the finished size. The new size is reflected on the project page.

The new size of Husbando’s 2023 sweater. I do not remember the maker of the stitch markers or even how I got them. For all I know, they just appeared one day.
